Went to the Dentist Monday for an exam and cleaning.  Anyone who knows me knows I only have six natural teeth and two crowns so it is a big job doing an exam on my mouth!!  Anywho after the exam the DDS always gives it a squint too.  At this point he discovers a gumline cavity and asked if I have a proxy brush.  A proxy brush?—is that something you use instead of a toothbrush?  Or maybe you use it to vote the cavity away! 

Anyway I finally say,” Am I suppoesed to know what a proxy brush is?”
“Not if you don’t have one,” is his reply.
Thank goodness, I thought I missed another important item in my life!

So today I went back and got the hole in my tooth fixed.  Too bad they can’t fix the ones in my head as easily!!!!

Merribell the clown wowed an audience of 10 youngsters, 4 sets of parents, and one very surprised 60 year old!  We did the magic coloring book, found the missing spot, poured water on the 60 year old’s head (without getting her wet),  and made bubble gum in a dove pan.  A great time was had by all!!!

Now for Momma, who started learning about COPD.  It is EMPHYSEMA kids.  Let’s get that out in the open for starters.  I have a lot of questions about what to eat, any medications as yet, and what exercise is good?  All of which I will spring on the good Doctor in a couple of weeks.

I learned one important factor is maintaining a good attitude so I guess pulling Merribell out of retirement every once in a while is good therapy!!!!
