Wow living in the wilds of Otisville is almost more than this old broad can take. This morning I was greeted with a very dead possum in the middle of the driveway. Even before coffee I decided that this situation will never do. So it was off to the shed for the coal shovel to remove the poor thing from my vision and lay it to rest in the swamp across the street. With a slightly upset stomach I accomplished my mission and returned to my kitchen for some much needed coffee.
The good news is that Chips (the cockateal) was out of the small cage this morning and flying high and wide around the living room. That is a good indication that she is ready to return to her normal cage and hopefully smack the hell out of the male in there that kept pushing her off the perch when she was hurt!!
Well I updated the dry-erase calendar in the utility room to reflect our social life this month. Most of the enties start with doctor which reminds me how fucking healthy this household is!! But look on the down side, no appointments =not alive and someone would have to get out the old coal shovel for us!!!!
OK, coal shovel references not appreciated:-) LOL! So glad to hear Chips is doing better!!! Poor Chips, she lives in a home (Cage) with an abusive mate. Shame, shame on him… the little domesticly violent twitter-head.
