Yeah why did she do it Pa?
Because she and the hubby canned all week last week into this week.
That explains it then Pa . I know it drives me crazy to hear stick, stick, stick with every step across the kitchen floor. That awful grey film that juice gives the floor, the water stains from the dripping jars when they come out of the canner, and a counter that feels like double-sided sticky tape really gets to you when run your hand across it! And the top of the stove is a shameful mess!
So she finally got around to cleaning it up I guess!
You bet your butt Mildred and Pa I have had the canning business up to my elbows and I think I’m done for this year.
I am so glad you explained it. I thought you had been holding out about your quilting talents. The last time I saw a floor so nice-looking was in a brand-new house and the contractor was giving the nickel tour. Nice job.
And if your canned foods taste even half as good as your floor looks I am sure they will provide lots of enjoyment for all.
And here I thought I was bad for posting pics of my cat. I can take comfort in the idea that I haven’t posted pics of my kitchen floor yet.
