We used to roam the neighborhood in packs and collect enough candy to last us… well… days. In the 1960’s when I was a wee tike going trick or treating with my older brother the most dangerous thing we ever got was a cigar that found its way into my brother’s stash.</p> <p>My dad used to take a “tax” of our candy every year.
