About Momma

I was 77-years-old on February 22 and I'm amazed to see it. Mother of two sons and one daughter (Bloggers SEB and Cindyisms are two of them). Grandmother of three. Retired after 29 years+ at Michigan Bell Telephone and ten+ years with The Oakland Press. I was active with the telephone company union and a Dale Carnegie graduate. I work at crocheting, knitting, making ornaments, and other projects. With my husband I can 300 or 400 half pints of jam, chutney, plus cabbage relish, pickled beets and cinnamon fruit every summer to give away. I was clown doing parades, parties, and picnics for about 15 years. My other passions are music from the 50s through the 70s, reading, and of course blogging!

1. That’s awesome. Nothing says “Loveâ€? more than a new puppy. You certainly are a lucky Momma, Momma. wink

Again, Happy Birthday, and here’s to many, many more for you, Jay, Molly, and Brandy. (And the rest of your wonderful family as well.)

2. BTW, what did you think when they handed you the package? Did you know there was something alive? And where did they keep it before they gave it to you? I am sure the little guy must have made some noise while waiting for his new Momma to open his box.

3. Yeah, all the questions Jeff asked!!!
Seeing that little puppy head peeking over the edge of the box is soooo cute!

What a wonderful surprise!
Has Molly softened up towards the new arrival?

Happy Ongoing Birthday!
~~love and Huggs, Diane

4. I talked about getting a puppy for months and Jay kept saying no. But when Wes’family said they wanted to get it jay said ok.

The name is because I wanted to name my daughter Brandy but couldn’t because of the fa,ily tradition thing about grandmothers!

Cindy said when she visited the other day,” Yeah you gave my name to a dog!” cheese

5. In one of the Indiana Jones movies, the dad, played by Sean Connery, kept calling our hero (Indy aka Harrison Ford) ‘Junior’ because he said the dog’s name was Indiana.
