The Golden Years Suck!

Another Day, Another Quarter!

Nose is still running and throat still tight but feeling a little better today.  My granddaughter, Jasmine will be 15 tomorrow but I called to say as soon as I felt better I would be down to see her.

I made a shrug for her.  I’m hoping that it is sparkling enough to be in right now because a pretty girl deserves a pretty gift!

I plan to give her my last re-gift bookmark also.  I’ll get a picture when I do.

The baby blanket is down finally.  But for the life me I couldn’t remember how to do the picot edging so I just double crochet around it.

It is ready ahead of time for the August baby boy who will live in Indianapolis.

A call from Jeanie today to say that my brother is back in the hospital. I called him but explained that I couldn’t come to see him. He certainly doesn’t need my cold.

It is that foot again. He is running a fever and is in a lot of pain.  So naturally my first thought was to see him but then common sense kicked in.

This was one of four attempts to get a picture of the bunnies in the backyard.

This was a close as I could get to them before they ran.  If you can make them out by the burn area with the branch.  One is sitting up and the other is on all fours.  I so want a camera with a better zoom lens.  May be someday!

Today I clean bird cages and bathed Brandy so it is very quiet here tonight. Birds are fed and Brandy is sleeping on her pillow by Jay who is sleeping on the coach. The TV is on with ‘Cash In The Attic’ playing in the background. In a couple of hours I can fill Jay’s last insulin shot of the day. take some NyQuil, and lay my heady down again.

Remember to smile, stay healthy,  and look forward to a brighter tomorrow!

    Hi Momma,
Good to hear from you yesterday.  Sorry about your cold—-we’ve had a spell of the respitory flu in our house.  It’s no fun!
Loved the puppy pedicure pic and the one of the bunnies—-even if I had to imagine the ittle guy standing on his hind legs!  Jasmine is very very pretty and deserves a beautiful gift, I agree.  Hope you’re on the mend!
