A Golden Butter cake, Cream Cheese frosting, banana slices between the layers, and Cherry-Chocolate Kisses. That is enough to make this birthday girl smile despite the big 34 on the top.
She turned out good looking and her goal now is to be a ‘Hottie’! I think she already is!

What sticks out in my memory from the Summor of 1972 is that was the year Hurricane Agnes caused much, much flooding in the upper Ohio River Valley.
Our garden was all but washed away. Mud all over the lovely green tomatoes, and the bean poles tossed around like kindling with strings tangled.
And there was your Momma, all big pregnant and ready to have a baby.
Such events blur together through history, both national and personal.
And a nice looking kid, too!
