Good Question!

My very good friend sent me the item ‘Dog Philosophy’.  I will be sharing bits of it with you.

The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.  Anonymous

The digital camera will be sent tomorrow for repair.  I don’t know how long it will take but you can bet your bottom dollar I won’t be throwing on the floor again.

Nina who help to sell our other house and acted as buyers representative when we bought this one still sends me items even after we have lived here soon be seven years.  This I would like to share with you.

Did You Know….
As fast as summer seemed to burn,
Inevitably the leaves will turn.
Cider, donuts, burning wood,
The smells of Autumn are always good.
And then the snow begins to fly,
Say goodbye to our blue sky.
But sure as rain the flowers will bloom,
And Spring will come none too soon.
We have four seasons, some just have one,
Enjoy them all, just have some fun!

Some folks become friends once you meet them and isn’t that what makes life worth living?

About Momma

I was 77-years-old on February 22 and I'm amazed to see it. Mother of two sons and one daughter (Bloggers SEB and Cindyisms are two of them). Grandmother of three. Retired after 29 years+ at Michigan Bell Telephone and ten+ years with The Oakland Press. I was active with the telephone company union and a Dale Carnegie graduate. I work at crocheting, knitting, making ornaments, and other projects. With my husband I can 300 or 400 half pints of jam, chutney, plus cabbage relish, pickled beets and cinnamon fruit every summer to give away. I was clown doing parades, parties, and picnics for about 15 years. My other passions are music from the 50s through the 70s, reading, and of course blogging!

  1. I enjoy the changing seasons in Michigan.  Though, I wish we have a more stable (though, not the bitter below zero type) or constant light snowy winter, lol.  It seems over the past decade we have progressed to winters including 2-3 “hellacious” monster snow dumps that quickly melt away with nothing but cold & gray in between.  Sometimes cold & gray with bitter winds/temperatures and sometimes cold & gray with miserable icy rain.  What happened to the winters with occasional sunny days and snow covered ground from November to March?

  2. See that little dog in the hammock.  Now that is where you should be.  All the work that you have been doing lately is mind-boggling.  Now is the time to relax.  Take care of yourself, my sweet friend.
