Got Steps, Got Railings…..

The steps to the the living room door.

The deck in front of the bay window.

We can now walk out the French doors and take Brandy along.

It is time to lay the wood slab (concrete) path again.

No more flying Shih Tzu at our house!

8am this morning I was up preparing blue berries for jam.  We now 10 1/2 jars to join the rest of the goodies we have been canning.

So another chapter closes and another will begin soon enough!

  1. That’s just beautiful!
It looks like a place to retire and enjoy the sunset.

Brandy needs a proper red and blue cape if she’s gonna fly.

  2. Oh what a beautiful spot to walk out onto, coffe cup in hand, and the sunrising. Envy really isn’t a terrible sin is it because I think I have it bad.

  3. we need a picture of you and jay sitting out on your new deck smile

It looks so pretty and with your scenery it really has to be beautiful.

  4. What a beautiful home!  Renovations are a giant butt-pain, but it’s SO awesome to enjoy them when they’re finally done.  That deck is sure to provide decades of family fun along with beautiful moments of quiet just gazing out at the scenery.  Simply lovely…

I’m with Maria in the envy!  Especially looking at all that nice GREEN groundcover.  Our yards are an ongoing project, and neither front nor back has anything green covering the ground that’s not a weed!  LOL

  5. Hey, you’re back!  and Les says your pictures are taking up room in the server.  I think he understands how much fun this is for all of us, tho!
Seeing how other folks live and cope leads to peace, love, and understanding.
