Dog Philosophy # 3
If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went. —Will Rogers
Saturday Cindy and David came up and David moved the air conditioners out of the windows and into the basement. He then built my winter bird feeder. To avoid putting nails or screws into the new deck Jay and I devised a rig that is free standing. It is a regular Rube Goldberg type thing. David took the parts we had gathered and made it a reality. The next problem I faced was where to hang the finch feeder. A visit to my buddy at the ACO Hardware to tell her what I needed and we pulled together the parts for that also. Now both feeders are on the deck in front of the French doors for our winter entertainment. When the trusty camera is fixed I’ll post a picture.
I have had a bitch of a time for the last three days with my right arm. A pain from the elbow up into my neck ending below my ear. Not every minute but any movement seems to bring it on. Then my ankles chimed in so I wouldn’t forget their little scream while experiencing the arm thing. I don’t know if the arm is because of the bone spur or arthritis but it is getting hard to function.
Jay had a little vision for a while today so maybe he is on the mend. We start his round of Doctor visits this week so we will hear some more about the kidneys and maybe the eye doctor will be able to treat the eye again.
The other big events are getting the septic tank pumped ( Oh Wow) and taking Spirit in for his checkup. Such is life in the sticks!!!
Sorry to read of your rough times. Weather hasn’t been much help of late, either. Here is wishing sunny, painless days for us all.
I too wish you sunny, painless days. I have a knee that screams and sometimes my ankle screams back. Take care.
Bob just can’t bear taking the parrots to the Vet so the job always falls to me. Josephine is very forgiving, and Tweetie hates me anyway. She just adds it to her list of reasons why I should have to move out.
