Oh, that’s a pretty blanket! Looks like Cottontots bulky yarn, so I’ll bet it worked up really nice and quick.

Love the cactus, no matter when the buds come. Our daffodils look poorly this year. Not only are they a couple weeks early, but I haven’t thinned the roots in quite awhile. Probably this should be the season that gets done.

Whenever the bagboy offers to help me with groceries out to the car, I have to say “No, my doctor tells me to get more exercise”. This usually brings a smile to all who hear it.

I think a lot of it has to do with how nice it can be to just be helpful.

I was tagging along with Anne the other day when she went grocery shopping and, while I was meandering about trying to stop myself from putting every goody I could see in the basket, I happened to notice a man who was having a hard time getting a huge bag of dog food onto the platform under his cart. He didn’t seem to be particularly elderly, in his 50’s at the most, but his write hand was in some sort of brace and was obviously not very useful at that moment.

So I walked over and offered to help him get the bag in place so he could continue shopping. He was alone and quite grateful for the help. It was a handful for me so I knew the poor guy would’ve been at it for awhile had I ignored him.

I just hope someone from the store offered to help him get it into his car as I didn’t see him about when we left.

I too, have noticed more kindness lately. Sweet people who want to help me put heavy purchases in the trunk of my car for me etc.

If this is because I am older well, so be it, but like you I don’t care. It just feels good and gives me more faith in others.

Hope your sunshine continues and that you have seen the last of winter.
