My dad was all my aunt had left when we found out she had Alzheimer’s. He took care of her for ten years, and the last few years were the hardest I am sure. I saw her not long before she died, and it was very traumatic. My dad stayed strong to the end for my aunt, though, and if such a task should ever fall on my shoulders, I hope I can be half as strong as he was. </p> I am also sorry to hear about your brother.
