The baby boy that will soon be here has a ‘big’ sister. Not sure of her age but I know she asked Cindy to bring her ‘Sponge Bob’ cookies when she came to visit. With this in mind I thought a little something for Sister was needed also. So for Big Sister I made a pocketbook! As tradition dictates I’ll stick a little bit of money in it also. I hope she likes it and will get some play time out of it.

I’m jealous…i want one..lol
She is going to love you and Cindy for that gift and that you thought to bring her something. I’m sure she is probably feeling a little left out.
There were some like that at the Relief Sale, but I don’t know who made and donated them.
Also some made of fabric, and old quilted projects. So much labor, so much care.
That’s nice yarn, and such little girl colors.
Beautiful as it is, but a bit of cash won’t hurt.
My husband’s grandmother gave me two or three wallets over the years. Always with the face of a president or two tucked inside.
One of them wasn’t quite my style, so I just left it in the box for ages.
When I decided to give it to the thrift store, still in its box, my oldest son checked it through one last time.
There was another $10 in there, and I let him keep it.
When our ‘baby’ came home, the neighbor lady gave each of the olders a stuffed bear. Every time I changed the baby’s diaper, one or the other of the big brothers had to help and was working with his bear next to me. It took twice longer to get the task completed, but I figured we were all in it together.
Being a stay-at-home mom was the bestest job, ever!
