An e-mail from a dear friend reminded me that I did not tell you what spot in the family the ‘girls’ from First Annual held.
The Lovely Mother Is Anne’s lovely mother!
The star of Pensive is of course my daughter-in-law, SEB’s wife.
Melvin & Me, the actual name of the Jenkins’ cat, stars SEB’s daughter, my granddaughter.
The Happy Redhead can be no other but my only daughter!
Of course Momma you know!!!
The posters were all made with Print Shop edition 10 as well as the banner!
It took a while but was well worth the reaction of the participants.
The movies we watch were Ever After, A Knight’s Tale, and my favorite of the night Mrs. Henderson Presents
We ate, we laughed, we cried, and ate again! An ideal night when all of us were equals and were free to enjoy!
Try It with your group you will love it!!.
Oh, _A Knight’s Tale_ is one of my most recent favorites!!! Someone in an HCC class mentioned it, and I was glad I rented and watched!
Your posters were really cute.
Makes me want a color printer, just a little. Priorities ….
As one of the “Lovelies” in the girls movie night, I must share my thoughts. I want to Thank you for including me in the evening. I have wanted to initiate a Gribble Girls get together for some time. Alas, not easily done, so this tryst with the Jenkins and Axsoms was a “dream come true” and I really have to agree about Mrs. Henderson Presents. It was my favorite.
Enjoyed hearing about your film event as I too watch quite a lot of films on DVDs at home helps to pass a relaxing time. I usually lend them to friends afterwards and we pass them round.
Enjoyed “Our House” about young couple purchased a flat in New York with another flat above theirs in which a cranky elderly lady lived. Tells all about what they have to put up with her with many laughs!! Best wishes to you all. a lady friend over here has knitted about 15 or so of the type of fluffy scarves you are wearing in your photo for many of her friends – keeps her busy and happy. Marion
