From the Sweethearts in California a get well bouquet for me. It is beautiful. Thank you Maria and Bob. It was a joy talking with you on the phone yesterday Maria. Some people just make you feel comfy the minute you hear their voice. Like you I felt like my old friend or relative took time to chat with me. Certainly have made my day.
Brandy joined me again yesterday as I picked up the knitting needles. I had been waiting for Molly to abandon the Lazy Boy and as soon as she did I plopped down. Brandy came across the couch, up over the arm of that and the chair to settle in my lap. There she slept for quite a while. Such a change in temperament for her because she usually is all play. But I’m sure not complaining.
What a sweet little dog your Brandy is! She KNOWS you’re not up to playing right now so she’s waiting for you to get better!
How very nice of Maria and Bob to send you the flowers!
and the phone call too!
Lots of nice folks out here in blog land-I have found!
Take care and get better real soon!

Remember all my troubles with 1-800 Flowers? Well, I followed Judy’s advice and ordered directly from a florist near you. I think it worked very well and I love the flowers in the photo you posted.
There is something else about a local florist. They tend to chat and we exchanged weather reports and how your corner of the world had a near blizzard a few days ago.
So I am glad the flowers arrived and I hope they will aid your speedy recover.
What a nice thought by Bob and Maria. It looks like a beautiful bouquet.
It’s interesting how Brandy has taken an interest in being with you more. I am a firm believer that our pets can tune in on our well being, physical and mental.
My little boy Angel seems to want to spend more time with me as well. He was never one to sit on my lap while I watch television from my La-Z-Boy chair, but since my <s>wife</s> former wife told me our marriage is over back on October 1st, he apparently picked up on my emotional state of mind and now begs to be up in the chair with me. Once he is there he lavishes me with attention, and even guards me from the other pets, (except his little sister Jackie,) and people! AND he seems to be barking at my former wife more often. Even SHE has noticed the change in his attitude.
We will be living in the same house for some time to come because we both understand the financial advantages, and the housing market is lousy right now so we couldn’t get what we paid for it a year ago anyway. So far we are living together amicably, so hopefully it will stay that way.
ANyway, I have written more than I wanted to already so, GET WELL SOON!
