Yep it is still snowing.  My favorite woodpecker is munching seeds (if woodpeckers munch that is !) I found if I dress in black he doesn’t spot me moving into position to get a picture from inside the door. 

My pesky squirrel visited twice today.  Anyone hearing me would think I was batty.  I stand in the open door and yell,” what are you doing here”.  He looks up , jumps down to the rail, and then down to the ground.  He hesitate a few moments until I say,” get going” and then he runs a ways then stops until I shout, “keep going”.  He crosses the driveway as I shout, ” I can still see you”.  He evidentially disappears into the woods,  I sound stupid but it works!!!

Brandy got her stitches (actually staples) out yesterday and is doing just fine.  The Vet called her Friar Tuck after they shaved the top of her head and I called her my little steel head! 

As for me the foot still swells and it gets uncomfortable once in a while.  But if I get up enough guts I shove it in a pan of cold water and it does wonders to relive it.  We are getting there slow but sure.  I try to wear the air cast part of the time put that gets uncomfortable also.  I just have to remember I have my feet and some people don’t and that little voice in my head says quit bitching you lucky dog!
