I had surgery in 2003, but the Dr. told me then he wasn’t really after trying to eliminate my pain, he was more interested in preventing a “catastrophic event”, should I suffer any trauma to my neck.</p> <p>In any case, before the operation I was on pain pills, and I have continued to be on them ever since. They have the opposite affect on me than on you, however. I end up a little hyper after I take my meds, even after all these years! I take one long acting pill in the morning about an hour before I get out of bed, and then another in the late afternoon. If I wait too long, and take it close to bedtime, I have trouble sleeping. </p> As you may know I have trouble with my neck.
