The family of Miss Daisy has indeed grown to four. How many more members will join her?
Monday Jay started mowing the front yard.
I took over and finished it up.
The results were very satisfying.
I started working on the afghans again and as of this afternoon I have a total of four done.
I will start number five this evening.
You are as busy as ever by your last posting, makes me feel hungry!
Self and a friend Mary went to an Elvis Vegas night last Saturday, we had a good laugh and a dance or two and sang along, even though the chap doing Elvis was a bit like Elvis alas at his fatter stage! We had a buffett meal during the evening, and some people played black jack cards and roulette. It made a nice change and has lifted our spirits since. Marion
The blankies are lovely! was the yarn you are using for the edging also donated like the squares?
I think Miss Daisy and her sisters are quite the show-offs.
When ya got it, flaunt it, right?
Glad to see you are keeping yourself busy over the summer.
~~love and Huggs, Diane
Some of the yarn was sent with the afghans. I had some in my big basket that I liked better so I used that instead!
Oh, yes, I know all about having a big basket of yarn just in case a need comes up…
I’m still loving the picture of the daisy sisters.
