I went shopping at the Thrift Store before going grocery shopping.
Last day of the month, not to mention the New Year, there are bargains aplenty.
I bought a 100% cotton sweater for me for $1, and socks for youngest son for 25c.
At home, I took these items out of the bag, removed the tags and dropped them on the floor next to my chair while I was still rummaging through the rest of the stuff.
Mahalia came over and gave the little pile the sniff test of kitty inspection, then proceeded to settle herself down on the top for a nice little nap.
If I hadn’t planned on putting them thru the laundry before, I will be washing them now for sure.

Still gots a long list of things to do before school jobs begin again in a week.

We are SO much alike! When you have a ‘free’ day, what do you do…relax, embroider (knit in my case), listen to music, take a nap? NO! It’s HOUSEWORK for us! (WHAT? Are we nuts???) Oh well, I state, as I go drag another load of clean clothes up from the basement and proceed to fold and put them away…someone’s gotta do it!
Hugs;
