Momma's Corner

The Golden Years Suck!

Got No Grass To Mow!

Temperature is 32 degrees, winds out of the North 18 mph, and snow.  (No kidding!)

Feeders are filled so the birds are good!

Looking East South-East from our deck there is snow.

The branches on the trees located there are covered.

Next to the parking area the Quince and the Butterfly bush bend under the weight of the white stuff.

Looking North down to the road more snow.  It is like during the night an unknown grabbed hold of all the clouds in the sky, pulled them down to the ground, and draped them over everything to delay the coming of Spring.  I so wanted not to see this!

    Yep, the ‘snow gremlins’ hit us, too, only not as heavily. We have about 2-3 inches here; not bad-OK to drive in. Hoping you have a crafty something to work on while you wile away the time ‘til we get some sun to melt this mess!
    Hugs;

    This has to be the last snow of the season.  I remember how tiresome it all became in late March and April.

    I went over and looked at Jay’s photos, too.  I know he was hoping for Spring and no more snow plowing.  What a disappointment.

    The spices sound very interesting and sure beats having to go out in that weather to get Top Ramon.

    Come on – are you people ever going to get rid of snow!  We have been having lovely warm sun, plus some rain overnight, and all the tree blossoms are out now except for my ornamental cherry tree which is in thick bud and waiting to burst!!

    I booked to go see an Elvis Impersonator, man called Lee Mamphis King, who I saw last year and enjoyed a lot, for week this Saturday, but alas friend I booked to come with me been taken unwell and having to have tablets rearranged and some care at a special centre nr here, so am not sure if she will be able to come after all.  Perhaps another friend will join me for the show, which is down at our harbour city of Portsmouth, down south of me here.  Wait to see!  Love to all Marion at Liss Hampshire England   listening as usual to local radio prog.
