Preparing!

The latest on my Christmas cactus.  It looks like possibly one more bud forming on it.

Brandy is all set for company on Easter.  She is looking and smelling great!

Wish I was ready.  But I still have tomorrow and it will get done. The peanut butter eggs won’t take too long to make.  I think I’ll make some chip dip also.  Then it is finish up the clean up.  So I’ll let you get your work done and I’ll do mine.  See yah!

About Momma

I was 77-years-old on February 22 and I'm amazed to see it. Mother of two sons and one daughter (Bloggers SEB and Cindyisms are two of them). Grandmother of three. Retired after 29 years+ at Michigan Bell Telephone and ten+ years with The Oakland Press. I was active with the telephone company union and a Dale Carnegie graduate. I work at crocheting, knitting, making ornaments, and other projects. With my husband I can 300 or 400 half pints of jam, chutney, plus cabbage relish, pickled beets and cinnamon fruit every summer to give away. I was clown doing parades, parties, and picnics for about 15 years. My other passions are music from the 50s through the 70s, reading, and of course blogging!

  1. Boy, do YOU sound busy! My dinner will be a quick, rather basic one: ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn casserole, rolls, cheesecake for dessert. Got too much going on at church to take time for a big, fancy dinner…it’s just ‘us’ (including Kris & Kaden).
    Hope all goes great with yours!
    Hugs;
    Pammie

  2. Happy Easter Momma.  Happy to share my thoughts and wishes with you.  Have an “eggs-elent” day!  Enjoy the sunshine, who knows what tomarrow will bring.

  3. Can Brandy come to California?  We know a Hollywood Producer that would love her. (Not really, but Maltese have exorbiant imaginations—equal to those of the folks they live with.)  We would love to share the desert lizards with her.
    Love,
    Lucky and LuAnn

  4. the Christmas cactus is lovely, even if it does have its holidays mixed up

    Major Event for breakfast at church on Easter morning, and you-know-who is the banquet captain

    I had ‘no idea’ how much work is involved when I signed my name on a volunteer sheet for the Fellowship Committee.

    I caint be here again til Monday

  5. Happy Belated Easter!  Looks like a great time was had by all!  I spent mine in the hospital once again! BOO HOO! Caroline was on vacation as of last Saturday and the kids and hubby are in Vermont.
