Wild Things

It seems they are every where!

Brandy and I spotted a baby bunny running across the drive into the woods today.  What an unexpected treat.  Also the Orioles are still visiting the Hummingbird feeder.

It is 63 degrees outside, overcast, with showers expected.

The wild things as bushes and up close!

They eventually will fade away until Spring time comes again.  But, oh, what joy they have brought to me this year.

I set up a chart last night to keep track of when and what kind of eye drops Jay has to have.  It seems to be working out well.  The Doctor yesterday said the operation seems to have turned out better than he expected.  We will return in a week, and if all is going well again, in a month.  During the second duration Jay will return to Dr. Ross’ office also.

Well another day passes and I sit and think about all the many troubles others are facing right now and feel grateful that ours are small.

Take care everyone.  See you soon!

  1. All those lovely flowers & flowering bushes! What a treat for the eyes! (my Columbine comes up all white…strange, it used to be pink & white!). So far the Bleeding Heart just didn’t bloom this year. I’ve been hearing so many tales from others about their flowers not blooming this year as in years past. One friend said she planted 90+ tulip bulbs last year and none of them bloomed. When she dug them up, they were all mushy…strange.
SO GLAD to hear Jay’s doing well and the surgery turned out ‘better than expected’…that’s SUCH a blessing!!!

  2. I am enjoying the pictures of your flowers.  Mine are in the just popping out stage and it will be a while before blooms grace my pots.  The veggies are coming up in my “small” garden.  Soon the lettuce, spinach, radishes, and green beans will grace our meals.  Yum Yum The sore back and aching knees will go away and the pleasures of my efforts will bring joy to our tummies.
