I received a phone call this afternoon from Florida with the news that my baby brother died at 12:49 pm. I can only think that he was so tired of being ill that he gave up. Daniel had turned 65 on the 15th of this month. At least he doesn’t hurt any more. He will be missed.
My sympathy for your loss.
Sorry about your latest news re your brother – yes my son’s father in law has once or twice nrly given up living too due to illness, age 73, but so far hanging in. I attended younger Grandson’s sports day yesterday in baking heat with him as it happens and his wife Joan. We at moment suffering a terrific heatwave east of England, temps 30 – 32. The kids did so well running in the extreme sunshine yesterday!!
Off to Ladies church meeting now. Have to be good for an hour! Marion at Liss
Mary, I am so sorry to hear about the death of your younger brother. I wish I were there to comfort you in some small way. I will keep you and your brother in my thoughts today and I unnderstand the bittersweetness that comes with knowing he will not be suffering anymore, but wanting him to live longer. Letting go of a loved one is not easy.

Dearest Friend; remember the good times, the funny jokes (and Dan was FULL of those!),the times when you leaned on each other and know that he loved you as much as you loved him. Prayers for all of you, and Peg, as well.
Love;
Pammie
