Paula, I have to confess I don’t know the names of half the things that grow in my gardens.  Never have been a horticulturist—not even a good gardener.  All I know is I enjoy each and every flower that cares to bloom in my yard. I’m glad you enjoy pictures of them also.

Tomorrow we are supposed to be holidng our Village Day with a large Fete and son’s traction engine Victoria should be coming out to parade, and all the young parents with their various kids, but we are all watching the weather, our heat wave of last fortnight has gone away and there is threat of some heavy showers tomorrow,
but they may miss our village yet, more to the West of us hopefully.!!  Nrly the whole village turns out, and there is usually a visit from the large Chinook helicoptor flying in from local Base nr here much to the delight of all the children, oh and some adults too as it sounds great when arriving in the morning with it’s blades thumping!  So fingers crossed. 

Son and his wife too holding a BBQ evening later to celebrate daughter in law’s birthday, about 37, I have lost track!  So maybe thre will be some good eatin’ to be done and the odd sausage and chicken thigh to enjoy!!  Marion.
