]]> By: Marion at Liss England http://mommascorner.com/2009/06/the_party/comment-page-1/#comment-191 Marion at Liss England Tue, 23 Jun 2009 18:30:02 +0000 http://mommascorner.com/2009/06/the_party/#comment-191 <p>Well done for getting all thoise balloon animals done Mary!!</p> <p>Just to tell I went by coach down to our lovely seaside resort of Bournemouth, where the sea looked calm and great and it’s sweeping sandy beach too plus all the amusement arcades open and working and people walking the seafront.  Reason for going was to see once again our Irish singer, Daniel O’Donnell, in concert.  His last concert after touring England past fortnight and before<br /> returning to Ireland to our there most of July coming.  He had a rotten cold but managed to sing his heart out, tell us some jokes, and got through the evening.  About 2000 people there, lots in their 80s and 90s, and he read out letters for two or 3 Diamond Weddings when he read out requests part way thru concert.  </p> <p>One joke he told us went thus:  Three Granddaughters announced to their Grandmother they were going on holiday to Spain, to which Grandmother said she felt left out, so they agreed to take her with them.  First morning in Spain the 3 young women came down to breakfast ready to go sunbathing topless.  Grandmother was aghast, but off went the girls to enjoy their sunbathing. </p> <p>The next morning the 3 girls came down to breakfast, found no sign of Grandmother.  Might be out by the pool the said, so off they went to find her.  Sure enough they found her there, and their eyes popped out to find her sunbathing topless too, everything hanging out so to speak! </p> <p>Seeing their surprise Grandmother said, well I thought yesterday everybody saw the rose buds so today I thought they could see the hanging baskets!  </p> <p>The audience roared with laughter.  Love to you all.  Marion </p> Well done for getting all thoise balloon animals done Mary!!

I would not have paid attention to him at all other than I have been reading here about your practice.  But the device caught my eye, and he was talking the whole time his hands were twisting.

Anyway, he had to use 6 balloons, but ended up with a hat which looked like it was a monkey sitting on his shoulder.
I wish my camera was in my purse right then, but a picture of such cuteness might have been too much of a pin in your own set-up.

Get some rest…. then start a new week all over again.
