Busy Day!

Good Morning!  I actually saw a Red Winged Black Bird in the yard yesterday and the big thermometer was pushing 60.  Brandy and I walked the 200 feet down the driveway and pulled the garbage cart back up to the house.  Of course I stopped a couple of times to rest a moment but I made it.   As a reward we went to the other side of the driveway and sat in the swing for about 10 minutes. That was an enjoyable interlude.

Well the baby blanket is over half way but probably won’t be picked up today and the last snowman , which hasn’t been touched for two days, will stay status quo.   The appointment with Dr. Ross is this morning and the housework I said I would do the other day–well I didn’t!   So it will have to be  started today.

My first cup of coffee was warmed in the microwave this morning  so it is cooling off quickly but I do have a fresh pot on.   A shower is next on my agenda, then a bit of breakfast, gather up the CDs, my book, and a fresh cup of coffee to go and it is off the the appointment.

This plans to be a somewhat busy day so I will close for now.  Take care!

About Momma

I was 77-years-old on February 22 and I'm amazed to see it. Mother of two sons and one daughter (Bloggers SEB and Cindyisms are two of them). Grandmother of three. Retired after 29 years+ at Michigan Bell Telephone and ten+ years with The Oakland Press. I was active with the telephone company union and a Dale Carnegie graduate. I work at crocheting, knitting, making ornaments, and other projects. With my husband I can 300 or 400 half pints of jam, chutney, plus cabbage relish, pickled beets and cinnamon fruit every summer to give away. I was clown doing parades, parties, and picnics for about 15 years. My other passions are music from the 50s through the 70s, reading, and of course blogging!

  1. Hope it turns out to be a good day for all! Hey, the ‘house chores’ will wait for you; trust me – I know!

  2. Boy, you have been busy since I last read your posts. Bees, ants, sounds like a nightmare! I always worry about my birds when the pest control guy comes around but so far, he has not had to ask me to remove them thank heaven. O f course with the motor home right outside our door, I guess it would be easy to let them think they were just camping
