Yep yesterday I made the zucchini bread and it was very good. There are two loaves in the freezer, the little pie pan ones are eaten as are some of the muffins. To think I still have six or seven bags of ground zucchini left in the freezer so I can make more whenever I want!
Pammie mentioned a sign she had seen in the vet’s office that prompted me to remember my little sign about the Big Girl Pants that Cindy gave to put on my fridge. Now I have to buy another one that I found today in a magazine. It reads, If I have to pull up my big girl pants and deal with it one more time the elastic is going to break and I really will have to show my ass! Boy I have to have that one for my wall!!!!!!
This afternoon Jay and I turned 10 pounds of blueberries into 19 half pints of Bluebarb jam. That is a blueberry rhubarb mixture. Also we made 21 half pints of just Blueberry jam. There is a small bowl of whole berries left for eating raw!!!!
Well that is it from (as Cindy calls it) Hooterville. We are trying to stay comfortable in the heat and hope you can do the same.

Baking during the summertime is quite adventurous
Looks Yummy!
The breads look so delicious and I know you are going to enjoy eating them with Jay. By the way, Happy Anniversary to both of you.
Yup, it sure LOOKS like you’re feeling better! Bet the house smelled yummy (and I KNOW the breads will taste great – and the jam, too.) Great work there, Lady!
Your post and pictures are making me hungry!
Wish you lived near me!

Just to tell along with two lady friends am off to Ireland tomorrow headed for Dublin first then on up to Donegal on Sunday, after sailing all Satruday night across from nr Liverpool, Holyhead! We suddenly formed this plan about Weds this week. Going up for the purpose of seeing our singer who we have followed for about twenty years Daniel O’Donnell who is performing a charity concert there next Monday evening. We have a long coach ride up to Holyhead from London tomorrow evening. I am hoping we can keep well doing this even though we are keen to go! My two friends are about mid 70s but goers still I admit! Have taxi picking up myself and friend Mary this end, to catch a National Express coach heading for London for us. Hope to have a happy and laughter filled weekend – we usually do over in Ireland. Not too much of the Guiness my friend in Wales said on the phone yesterday. So think of us sitting up all Sat., night on board the ferry to Dublin Mary anbd Jay! Marion Liss England. Son has another Steam meeting this weekend.
