It Is Looking Up!

I spent three and a half hours with Jay early today.  He is looking good, sounding good, and feeling good.  The lung doctor said he was much improved and may be able to come home after dialysis tomorrow afternoon.  I have to check on the oxygen order and see if it can be here when I get him home,

I’m still having trouble hearing the phone ring and understanding what people say but I am coping.  I hope all is going well with you!

About Momma

I was 77-years-old on February 22 and I'm amazed to see it. Mother of two sons and one daughter (Bloggers SEB and Cindyisms are two of them). Grandmother of three. Retired after 29 years+ at Michigan Bell Telephone and ten+ years with The Oakland Press. I was active with the telephone company union and a Dale Carnegie graduate. I work at crocheting, knitting, making ornaments, and other projects. With my husband I can 300 or 400 half pints of jam, chutney, plus cabbage relish, pickled beets and cinnamon fruit every summer to give away. I was clown doing parades, parties, and picnics for about 15 years. My other passions are music from the 50s through the 70s, reading, and of course blogging!

  1. Great News! I am refraining from calling only because of the hearing problem so this is still the best way to keep in touch. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Jay and I am so glad he is improving.

  2. YAY for JAY (and for you). Sorry your ear is still doing what it did years ago (remember that?); sure hope it clears up soon. Did you try calling your doctor and mentioning that it is still ‘weird’ for your hearing (ooops – wasn’t thinking – If you can’t hear well, making a PHONE CALL won’t be the way to go!). Maybe ask Cindy to call for you??
