Home Again

When Cindy drove me into the yard  yesterday this was the first thing  I saw .

What a joy .

The other thing was this.

More rhubarb to make jams and chutney with.

Not near as much as I’ll need but every little bit helps!

I’m still a bit shaky so I will cut this short.  Take care!

About Momma

79-years-old on February 22 and I'm amazed to see it. Mother of two sons and one daughter (Bloggers SEB and Cindyisms are two of them). Grandmother of three. Retired after 29 years+ at Michigan Bell Telephone and ten+ years with The Oakland Press. I was active with the telephone company union and a Dale Carnegie graduate. I work at crocheting, knitting, making ornaments, and other projects. With my husband I can 300 or 400 half pints of jam, chutney, plus cabbage relish, pickled beets and cinnamon fruit every summer to give away. I was clown doing parades, parties, and picnics for about 15 years. My other passions are music from the 50s through the 80s, reading, birds, flowers, my pets, big cats, and of course blogging!

  1. Hey there, Sweet Lady! I checked with Jay the other evening – just wanted to let you know we’re prayin’ for you! Also learned (via facebook) that Dar & Michael are back to visit you, so I know you’ll be in good hands. Sure hope you remember to relax and let others ‘pamper’ you!
