Update

Well it was 12 cups of dark cherry and 6 cups of orange rhubarb  before I gave it up for today.  Now it is read or Fill It In puzzles for me.

The latest news from Florida my family down there has survived with a minimum amount of discomfort for now.

My Brandy is under the weather today and I’ll take her to the Vet. if she doesn’t improve.

Hope your day is going well.

About Momma

Now 82-years-old on February 22 and I’m still on the right side of the grass.. Mother of two sons and one daughter (Bloggers SEB and Cindyisms are two of them). I’m Grandmother of three. I have lived with my daughter for nine months now and she hasn’t kicked me out yet. I stay active with household chores, and feeding my zoo. (3 cats, 1 dog, and 2 birds.) Retired after 29 years+ at Michigan Bell Telephone and ten+ years with The Oakland Press. I was active with the telephone company union and a Dale Carnegie graduate.
I work at crocheting, knitting, making ornaments, and other projects. I do a little canning. I trained with the Michigan Bell Clown troupe and then I was a clown doing parades, parties, and picnics for about 15 years.
My other passions are music from the 50s through the 80s, reading, birds, flowers, my pets, big cats, and of course blogging!

  1. WOW – YOU BE JAMMIN’! (couldn’t resist!) I’d say a REST would be in order right about now – right? Glad to hear your family in Fla. survived. Earl’s sister just moved back to Fla. from Minnesota earlier this year; she had lived in Miami for a good 10+ years then moved to cold weather & decided to go back to warmth – they moved to the WEST side of the state (where all the hurricanes went!). Fortunately she has a friend inland and they went there to wait it out.

  2. You have been very busy with your jam making!

Brandy becoming old now worst luck.

I order food from Amazon then change my mind when it comes and then have to take it to the local Food Bank! Still at least they can use it.

We keep having heavy sudden showers of rain lately. from Marion Liss England.
