I was born in a small Kansas town, grew up in Oklahoma City and San Diego, and then—due to circumstances beyond my control—moved back to a small Kansas town for high school and college. In 1999 I got a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, so naturally I went right into working with computers. In early 2006, I started my own business doing web site development and graphic design. A closet exhibitionist, I finally gave in and started a weblog in August 2003. Much to my surprise, I’ve filled it with over 100,000 words since then. I have been described by friends as “smart,” “funny,” “creative,” “unique,” “weird,” “busy,” “late,” and “tall” (I know a lot of short people). I have a love/hate relationship with my facial hair, shaving off and re-growing a goatee and mustache about every four months. At this moment, I am probably in my underground lair, plotting my escape from Kansas. |
