I Don’t Do Two

I don’t do beauty shops except for a haircut every 3 months.  I don’t do manicures because I break my nails before I can get them done.  I don’t do makeup except lipstick sometimes and a little blush when I need to impress (which is very seldom) Besides with all the wrinkles in this face applying makeup would be like pounding sand down a bottomless pit.  So my friend with me what you see is what you get and that can be a little unnerving at best.  But I agree beauty is only skin deep and a shitty attitude goes straight to the bone.  It is easier working on the attitude than trying to repair the looks!!!

My Get A Life Two

Well we finally got the bottom cut out of our burning barrel.  My eldest took a saws- all to it and we started burning the dead limbs from our clean up plus what the former owner left in a pile out by the shed.  After two days we are over 2/3 through the pile.  Again I say what in the world was I thinking when I moved up here.

A big surprise for my wedding anniversary.  My eldest bought me a log lawn swing and my better half bought the pad and canopy for it.  I sit out there and swing my little heart out! !

I am at game #16085 with roughly 6 not mastered on free cell!!  And the Evil One got me a new set of speakers so I can hear the cd’s while I play the game.  I know get a life --but this is my life!!!

Light In The Trenches

A message received today over Alexander Graham Bell’s invention stated that I should get off my dead ass and throw some light in the trenches of Momma’s Corner.  So here we go!!  First and most important is that the Evil One’s Offspring will soon be an official teenager.  So please drop around to Courtney’s blog to wish her a Happy Brithday (spelling is a family joke) on or before the thirteenth. 2. Home renovation is done for a while!!  3. We plan to go raspberry picking on Saturday morning--seems the raspberry jam stock has fallen off somewhat.  I pick and the better half makes the jam.  Courtney’s 2 cousins on the Jenkins side are coming (with their Mom) to help so it was off to Rite-Aid for Off & Afterbite. 4. Speaking of jam the better half made walnut-banana jam twice now and it is num-num if you are into that combination.  It’s in the Sure Jell box instuctions..
