Imagine my surprise when the delivery man handed me two bunches of flowers today. Who else would be sending flowers? Wes does and Les was coming up so he wouldn’t send anything.
So I pulled the card from the package and it read JAY. I’m not your mother I said but he said I call him Daddy all the time so he could call me Mom if he wanted to. Almost 30 years together and this was the first Mother’s Day flowers from my hubby. I guess I’ve been taking good care of him.

It is my day--Mother’s Day.
The day when children come to visit or if they can’t come to see you the most beautiful things show up at your door.
When they were younger a card or a phone call was the order of the day but age brings a little more attention. I don’t know if it is my age or theirs, but I’m loving it!
Wes and family sent this lovely basket. Les and family will be up for lunch. Even if Cindy and Dave have to work I’ll still hear from them.
So if you have a Mom give her something to remember you by. It can be only the sound of your voice but it will mean a great deal to her.
If your Mom is gone spend a moment remembering something warm and happy about her--she’ll know.
