The Nectar Is Flowing

Well the two nectar feeders are hung, filled, and by golly being used.  I don’t know why I get so excited over the birds on the deck but I do.

Yesterday and today the Baltimore Orioles (2 pair) and a Ruby-throated Hummingbird were at the feeders.  They will stay with us most of the summer as long as I keep the feeders filled.  To be able to sit at your dining room table and watch them is great.

We have had thunderstorms for the past three nights so the trees and bushes in the yard are starting to blossom out.  They were here when we moved in and for the life of me I can’t remember what they are besides beautiful!

We have a pair of Canadian Geese out back walking back and forth between the neighbor’s pond and our yard.  They build their nest on the ground and I haven’t mowed yet so I think there is one out there.

So we are not close to stores, don’t live in town, but a more enjoyable place to enjoy nature I have never lived in before.

Not Quite A Bouquet ---

---but one heck of a Mother’s day gift just the same!  Yes the Evil One is a glutton for punishment.  He got me a CD Burner.  It is another tech thing to be afraid to work with for a while. And another thing to ask questions about!! Some day he is going to start charging for his answers and I’ll be in deep dodo!
