Sometimes on a sunny, warm, summer afternoon
Nap time really never can come too soon.
If you are Momma it’s a little snooze on the bed.
If you are me it’s the bedroom window instead.
Laying on the ledge with a soft summer breeze,
Caressing my fur just puts me at ease.
So when things get crazy and you don’t know what to do,
Stretch out, relax, peaceful things will come to you.

One of my Christmas gifts from this last year has become one of my favorites. I introduced you to Miss Jazz a few days ago. I told you of some of her achievements, this being one of them. She did this self-portrait in chalk and gave it to me.
I not only have children that write but some, and their children, who are artists also. I didn’t realize that having them could bring so many extra benefits.

Well Momma’s Corner is one year and one day old today. We have had some happy times, sad times, and just plain nothing times. But in my mind that is what life is about.
Pus_in_prada_boots said that this was my roadside stand along the information highway to sell whatever I’d like. I don’t know how many have paused to view the wares but I hope a few footprints are on the path!
