My Turn
Dr. Hukill, Internal Medicine, is the gentleman I give credit to for trying to get the Hubby on the mend physically.
But today was my turn. The right arm that has been giving me trouble looks like a rotator cuff tear. I’m scheduled at MRI Diagnostics Monday to have a look see. It might be something I’ll have to deal with because my duties keeping the homestead running make no allowances for a surgery. As we say You Do What You Gotta Do-so don’t bitch about it.
Doctor said he also wants an up-to-date stress test. So that will be in June. Even though I joke that he looks 12 years old he knows how to treat seniors like us.
Say Something Simple
Turn your back now and close your baby blues or browns whatever the case maybe.
Any day I’ll be changing my ‘Step-Ins’ and I don’t need no Peepin’ Tom telling me what foot to raise first.
Actually I’m moving from MT to I don’t know what yet, but I’m real excited about learning something new. That means I’ll be asking the Evil One loads and loads of questions and he just loves playing help desk guy to a non tech.. old broad!!!
I can’t tell you how many calls and e-mails it took to bring me up to even a low level of proformance when learning to author in MT. And now I get to try again on a new program.
I wonder how long before the old (snapper-steins[family joke]) won’t broadcast strongly enough to make connections between those tired brain cells. Well If they fail I can always try the smile, raise both arms, say something simple routine for a stroke test! (Seems everthing I say is simple so I’ll try just the first two.)
Come to think of it I’d better teach that test to The Evil One because he is gonna need it before I get the new program under control!!
Wish us both luck!!!
