Where Did It Go?

I have just spent a half an hour posting on this blog only to see it fall off the page and never return --shit-- So I start again.

Thursday morning at 5:45am I was in Flint at the MRI Diagnostics center starting a one hour session.  Lie on your back, perfectly still, in a cave with the ceiling three inches from your nose, and hear a machine pop, growl, whir, rumble, and thump for an hour in five-minute increments.  Oh what a joy!!  Then get up, drive the second half of a 60 mile round trip so you can fall in bed for another two and a half hours.
confused

Then it was on the road again to Pontiac where we picked up Jay’s new glasses. (Another 88 mile round trip.  Does Conlee Oil love me? What do you think?) Not that I am complaining about the glasses—Lord knows it beats having a semi-blind husband for six months.  grin

Now Jay is shouting up the stairs which channels we now have on local TV.  Five years in this area and the only local news channel on my satellite has been from Chicago.  Not too helpful in learning about local events when you live in Otisville.  Oh boy! I can hardly wait to tune in Bay City or Saginaw (I think that may be like Chicago come to think of it).

This afternoon I’m going to do something I very seldom do.  I’m going to a plant exchange at my neighbor Phyllis’ house.  It is not because I am into plants and gardening, but that I need to right a wrong.  I have lived in this dome for five years and have exchanged conversation with one neighbor.  Shame on me!!!

I have spent my life advocating a person should extend a hand and a smile to another person because everone needs to be recognized and then I crawl into my cave the minute I hit my driveway—what an asshole I am.  So today I march forth to meet my neighbors in person.  I hope stoning is not on the agenda!!! red face
