Anything My Heart Desires
Did you ever have one of those days when, as you pulled the mail out of the box, you could sense bad news before you could even read the return address? Today was my day! A bill from my husband’s eye surgery came saying I owed $391 for anesthesia. This same surgery two years before generated no such charges. So it was on the phone to the insurance company and the business that is generating the bill. I’m told that not only do I owe the above amount of money, but another bill from them for over $250 has yet to be mailed. The billing people explain that it is for a doctor and a nurse in charge of Jay’s anesthesia. That the hospital is on par with my insurance company, but these people are not. I explained I wasn’t given the choice of who was used at the time of surgery and I was told to tell the insurance company that. So I did. It was resolved with the insurance company saying they were going to correct the situation.
Therefore my husband said I can have anything my little heart desires if it doesn’t cost over $600. For the life of me I can’t think of anything to ask for and it is a good thing because we don’t have the $600 in the first place. But as they say: It is the thought that counts.
