My Fish
Hanging on the kitchen porch is this giant fish! It was created by Jazz for me. She drew the details, painted it, and added the fins. Now it swims in the air on my porch!!
Thanks Jazz I love it!
Monday it is back to the seven little flower gardens between the extentions because the weeds are peeking up again. But this time I have the tractor and garden trailer to haul the weeds away. No lugging bushel baskets to the truck this time,
Tuesday and Wednesday are set up for Dr. Ross and Dr. Rohr respectively. So if doesn’t rain, it isn’t windy, and my knees hold up I can finish the weeding and start to burn the brush and branches we’ve hauled to the shed area. Wish me luck!
Update: Five out of seven flower bed are clean. Two to go come Thursday !!
The Costumes
This is an answer to deadscot’s request for a look at the costume I have. I created every one of these costumes for the Christmas parade in Lake Orion, MI primarily. Some started out as is and others I have resized to fit. I’m not a seamstress so I don’t do this professionally. I have a red, white, and blue, an orange, yellow, striped vest and pants outfit and a striped dress outfit, among others. My hats are full size, wide brimmed, spray painted or doll sized with beads, bees, butterflies, birds and nests, or bells and sequins that I paint to match the outfits.
I made a renaissance gown for Jazz out of family room curtains and a shower curtain. Dakota’s costume was a wizard’s robe. I love to try and create these things because to buy them is out of the question when trying to dress so many. Hope you enjoyed this!
