The doctor’s appointment was early this morning so this afternoon I finished the last two flower beds. My knees are burning a little, I got more sun on my face, and something bit me on the left ankle, but I think a good hot shower will cure most of my ills. Tomorrow, if it doesn’t rain, we start burning the branches and leaves that have been gathered by the shed. Then that will wind up the outside until mowing time again.
My next project is mopping the kitchen, bathroom, and utility room floors. Which means washing the mats and rugs for the respective rooms and hanging them outside to protect the rubberized backs by not drying them in the dryer. All very important shit to write about--right?
I spoke with my daughter this afternoon about her consultation with her doctor about her problem. She seems quite ready to tackle the procedure if insurance will allow it. Knowing the pain and discomfort she has suffered I hope it is a go.
Jay’s cataract surgery is scheduled for 8/4/04. An outpatient procedure so I’ll get to haul him home that afternoon. This will further improve the sight in his good eye. All kinds of stuff happening around here.
Well I guess that is the latest from the “Land of Blinkin’ and me, Nod” So I’ll catch you on the flip-flop!!!
