Well the Evil one has loaned me his beautiful offspring for the week but the poor thing has had a pretty quiet time so far. It is too cold to go swimming and the lawn doesn’t need mowing yet so the tractor is still in the garage.
She has been on the computer, read her book, worked on a latch hook picture, and gone to the store a couple of times. She has stayed busy while Jay and I canned peaches for my brother and corn relish for us. (She did remove the husk from the corn to get it ready for the relish.)
We have to take Jay to a Doctor appointment tomorrow so she will be reading in the atrium while we are tied up with the appointment.
Thursday a trip to Vassar , Mi. to check out their peaches to can for our house. In the utility room there are red and green peppers, onions, and cabbage waiting for another attempt at cabbage relish. Our last year’s batch had a rinsing (of salt) problem so it was not up to our regular quality. So we will try again.
I’m trying to figure something to do that Courtney can have a little fun before she goes home.

Yes Jenkins Online will soon have another blogger but this one will be for the just turned teens. That doesn’t mean you can’t visit if you are over 19. Us ‘over people’ can remember being young and usually will share those times with others.
Hope to see the Cherry Chics up and running real soon. Go get ‘em Jazzy!!!
