A request on Cindyism’s blog was for graduation pictures of Wes, Les, and Cindy. I apologize for the quality. My expertise leaves alot to be desired. But they were a good looking bunch!

A trip to Michael’s for yarn has turned my whole schedule around. The ‘Dark Tower’ book five is on hold. Deavers, Allyn, and the Reader’s Digest Select books will all join the ranks until this creating frenzy passes. In fact I don’t hold much hopes for the kitchen floor either. It is a good thing the hubby is semi-blind. I figure if I get him, the cat, and the birds fed that will keep everyone quiet. I hope the cat doesn’t start sneezing because that is a dead give-away that I need to vacumn.
So if I’m seem to have fallen off the end of the earth--no I’m still here buried under fun fur, chenille, and boucle. But such is the life of an old woman who feels a spurt of “ I can do it” every once in a while!

Remember the saying about getting old and wearing purple? Well here for your consideration is something that fits the color but the yarns suggest a young feeling. This is a combination of one skein each of Lion Homespun and Bernat Fur Out.
This scarf is soft to the touch and light enough to be comfortable. The knitting needles are a size 17. Cast on ten stitches. Knit every row until you reach the desired length (pattern from the Lion Yarn website). Quick and easy which is what I need!
Update!
Hey it is 8:29pm and the scarf is done. Too bad it is a gift because I fell in love with it!
