Long day yesterday with results that were disappointing. But we will talk about that after the next appointment with the heart doctor, “cause my momma always said , “If you can’t say something nice --don’t say nothin’ at all!”
The Frankenstein afgan however is now within nine inches of being wide enough but lacks 39 inches in length. I spent alot of time on it while waiting yesterday. It is still the best way to pass the time on a long wait.
Tomorrow is shear the “old farts” day! I can hardly see Jay’s mouth and his eyebrows would have made John L. Lewis green with envy! My head looks like I combed my hair with a mix master! I am so tired of looking through gray strands. Now I know how my son’s dog sees the world! So after 2:00pm tomorrow I hope to see a haircut the is almost a brush --on me that is and being able to see Jay smile again!
I still find myself taking a deep breath when I think of the Nash family. I hope the Majesky’s Dad is getting better. Also that Edna’s hubby is still doing ok! That Bernice is feeling better and that Caroline’s mother will be out of the hospital soon. So many people who need caring about that we don’t have time to worry about us right now and that is good.
