Spent today running around getting things under control before the “ever lovin” enters the hospital. We started the day seeing the personal physician to get a final OK for surgery. This waiting has been very hard on Jay.
Next it was over to the Secretary Of State’s to obtain a handicapped parking card. From there it was to Sam’s Club where I could feel the pocketbook suck in like a mouth full of lemons. I think I paid two stock boy’s wages for a week! Then it was over to Gordon Food Service for a measly $40 worth! On the way home it started snowing and the items in the back of the truck got a bit wet.
Next it was pull everything out and off the truck and store it in its proper place. When that was done we had to call the lung doctor to call in a prescription because his nurse corrected a prescription form and our mail order pharmacy called to say they wouldn’t process it. This is one of several medication that has to go with him to the hospital. When he gets out we will straighten that mess out!
I went to the small engine shop to pick up the repaired front tire for the tractor and got it back on. I messed it up plowing snow on Wednesday.
Finally it was off to town to return a library book and pick up the prescription. Back home and start supper.
Tomorrow it is get Jay’s hair cut and have the taxes done down where we used to live. Hopefully this will end the merry-go-round and we can get off for a couple of days. So I may not have a whole lot to say that is entertaining--but I’m sure you understand!
