Today, Wes my oldest son and granddaughter Jasmine came up and plowed the driveway. I had messed up the programming on the satellite remote and was using both that and the TV remote to set programs. So Wes grabbed the book and fixed it up.
On the way home he and Jazz stopped to see Jay for awhile. When I called this evening Sweet Thing (Cindyisms) was at the hospital reading him The Detroit Free Press. So he had lots of visitors today. Also Les (SEB) called him and talked for a while. My turn comes tomorrow. I have a date to read the Sunday Funnies to him. Can’t take him nothing to eat, he can’t see so books, balloons and magazines are out. No flowers because he’s still on oxygen and can’t smell.
But they are slowly removing tubes, wires, and packing so he is finding it easier to get more comfortable. We don’t know if he will come home before the surgery or not yet so we are playing it by ear.
So stay warm and healthy and we will visit again. Don’t forget to laugh!!
