Hubby is home at least temporarily! Seems our heart surgeon had no openings this week so we will have to take him back later. I don’t know who is happier him or the cat. But I think it is him.
I have spent the last two hours setting up records for fluid intake and output, the pre surgery medications, the blood pressure and sugar readings, and a record of his diet intake. But I am bound and dtermined to keep him ready for the surgery. So we will see how good I am.
And again a big thank you to Decrepitoldfool, Leguru, K. Paul Glover, and Laurie (from Orlando) for the phone calls. Also to the nurses on the 3rd floor-south loop who put up with him for two weeks. Finally To SEB for setting up the calls, Wes for visiting and Sweet Thing for the time spent that meant missed sleep that she really needed!
So it is 11:03 pm and this momma has hard a long day. So Good night , stay warm and healthy, and smile a little!
