Iris Time!
A sure sign of Spring is when the Iris flag goes up at the kitchen door. Ironically I don’t have any Iris bulbs in the ground out here. In Orion the front flower bed was filled with them. I dug them all up and planted them in a bed in the back yard so I could put shrubs in front. The results was I had two gallon pails of them to give away. But I never thought to bring some with me up here. Each Spring I remember to hang the flag but lament the lack of the real thing in my flower beds!
On a different note Jay’s surgery is now set for the 12th of this month. So I have been keeping him pretty isolated so he will stay well enough to get it done this time. We were at Genesys yesterday for the preadmission testing and I’m sure our Dr. will ask to see him on Friday.
I’m sorry but I really don’t have a whole lot to say right now. Kinda deflated as far as what tomorrow will bring. Tired of being on hold for almost two months. I was always the guy that if I decided to do something today it should have been done yesterday!
My exmai llady was by to see us Sunday. What a good thing seeing her again. I’ll talk about Edna later.
Spirit, one of my African Greys, is sitting in his cage in the corner saying---Molly are you ready to come in yet. Molly get up here. Where’s Molly? And Molly doesn’t pay any attention to him. But come to think of it she doesn’t pay much attention to what I say either. Ahh! Such is life with the old folks at home!!!
Enough blabbing for now there are beds to change, clean clothes to fold, and two Doug Allyn novels to read before the library says bring them back. Stay warm, happy, and healthy!!!
