The first order of business on Wes’ house was to scrape it down. Putty knives, sanding wheels, a palm sander, even a heat gun, and a serious case of lead poisoning to remove the bad paint. When I asked Wes to say something about the work he replied, “Don’t Try This At Home”.
Starting at the front door and down the long side porch side siding and flooring was replaced where needed. The railing was reworked.
The railing symbols are a yellow sunbeam, a deep pink flower, and blue raindrop.
The ceiling of the porch is sky blue, the walls are lavendar, and the plan for the lattice work around the bottom is bright yellow.
Continuing towards the back of the house you notice several of the ten colors used to bring “the lady” back to life!
With a new computer system going in at work Wes has had to delay his work on the house. We will continue the coverage of this renewal later.

Tomorrow is Dakota’s 12th birthday so Grandpa baked him a cake.
The cake was a sandcastle but this big wave of chocalate ganache hit it and it started to wash away.
As you can see it didn’t stop ‘the blowing out of the candles ritual’!
So it is with great joy that we wish Dakota a Happy !2th Birthday and a hundred more!

Or thinking about it---if ‘Opus’ was built like ‘ Bill the Cat’ he would look like these guys!!! Yeah Right!
