Phone calls this morning resulted in a change of plans today. No raspberries to pick right now so we are not making jam today. Instead it was off to Frankenmuth, Mi. to Heritage Park for the Great Lakes International Antique Fire Apparatus Association’s fire engine muster. Antique fire engines lined the Cass River demonstrating their pumping ability
Jazz walked the grounds looking over all the different models and years!
Jay took time to explain the different attributes of the different engines. It gave us a little more understanding about the displays.
An enjoyable afternoon doing something we don’t normally do.

On Thursday we took a ride down into Oakland County to turn in a copy of the property tax and return some dishes to Wes and Deb’s house. While there we decided to bring Granddaughter Jasmine back home with us. She will be with us through Tuesday. She has an Orthodonist appointment early Wednesday morning.
Yesterday Grandpa let her mow with the tractor. I was out with the regular lawn mower cutting around things. Jay was in the garage working on the tater/onion boxes.
There was some time spent last night with the new knitter trying to get a baby blanket started. She picks it up every free moment she gets. It is for her Grand-Neice.
Sunday Courtney the other Granddaughter will join us and stay for about a week. It will give cousins time to catch up on things before they both return to school.
Today we have tentivly planned to pick raspberrries. If so it will be Jam making time with Jazz.
