Treeman!

The summer heat from Ole Sol as my Grandma called the sun is playing tricks on me today.  I stepped outside this afternoon to walk out front under the trees because the breeze is cooler there.  A feeling that I was being watched crossed my mind as I approched the trees.

Eyes seemed to follow my every step. Yet no one seemed to be nearby.  I was alone in my yard but I didn’t feel alone.  As I neared the closest bunch of trees I spied my Peeping Tom.  Two big beautiful brown eyes stared at me.  It’s mouth was pulled open and it’s tongue was sticking out as if to say, “Ha I fooled you old lady”.

Yes indeed it was my treeman having fun with me!

Thoughts And Tidbits

My friend Pam has been sending ‘Thought For The Day’ and other tidbits to me that I have compiled to share with you.  Also Dar has a quote on her blog that I love. So thank you friends.  Here is the Quote first:

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia; you know you’ve got it when you can’t think of anything else that’s your fault.

Robert Hutchins

Thought for the Day

“On the journey through life, I chose the Psycho Path!”

“They called it PMS because Mad Cow Disease was already taken!”

“If you don’t have something nice to say, a blank stare usually gets the point across.”

Good Housekeeping Tip:

Always keep several get well cards sitting on the mantel...so if
unexpected guests arrive, they will think you’ve been sick and unable
to clean.

“Some lead, some follow...me? I just laugh!”

Getting Older
As we age, our priorities change .....
The other day I came home and was greeted by my wife, dressed only
in very sexy underwear and holding a couple of short velvet ropes.
Tie me up,” she purred, “ and you can do anything you want.”
So, I tied her up and went fishing.

“Am I getting older or is the supermarket playing some great music?”

“I don’t tan....I rust!”

“If you’re too open minded your brain will fall out!”

The Eyes Have It Or Do They?

A checkup yesterday for the pressure in the left eye showed the treatment Monday was good.

The next step is full dilation of both eyes on August 26 to check the cataract situation.  We will follow through on that as it occurs.

My God it is fun getting old---What don’t wear out just sits there and hurts! Modern science is developing ways to allow us to live longer but nobody is developing medication, that has no side effects that might kill you, to get rid to the aches and pain!
